For as long as I can remember, hair has been my favorite artistic medium. More specifically, barbering and short hair are my cup of tea.
I've been working in the industry for a decade and spent the majority of my career in barbershops. That allowed me to dive into the world of clipper cuts, beards and straight razor shaves. Fades, classic cuts and lived in messy looks are my absolute favorites to do!

The service starts by applying an Aveda shave lotion and a hot towel to help open the pores and soften the hair follicles. Next, hot lather and shave, followed by liquid exfoliant to reduce ingrowns and after-shave moisturizer.

We can easily help blend the grey hair in with your natural colour using our customizable Grey Blending line by Aveda. Aveda’s Grey Blending service is a five-minute add-on service that Joy can perform right at the shampoo bowl. It is a 95% naturally derived, demi-permanent colour that fades out gradually over the course of four weeks, without leaving a harsh line of demarcation and obvious roots.

To keep your hairstyle looking fresh and clean you may want to consider getting bi-weekly taper clean up depending on how fast your hair grows. For most hairstyles, every two to three weeks is a good time to get a trim to keep your style looking its best! If you have longer hair where it doesn’t show new growth as quickly, four weeks may work for you.

Our service providers depend on guests arriving at appointments on the scheduled date and time, we understand that things can come up at the last minute, so as often as possible we ask that all guests provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment for future bookings.
Guests that arrive more than 15 minutes late to their appointments will be rescheduled to a later date.
